What we are building
The site combines browser-based calculators with reference pages for common pallet footprints, TI-HI terminology, load dimensions and container capacity. Our aim is not to replace engineering software. It is to give planners, warehouse teams, students and small businesses a clear first-pass estimate.
Useful before impressive
Tools should answer a real planning question quickly, work on a phone, and explain the assumptions behind the number.
Evidence before volume
New and existing pages are prioritized using actual search and usage data. Similar keywords are not removed or merged without page-level evidence.
Limits stated plainly
Uniform-grid TI calculations and mixed container-floor searches are separate models. Each result states what was searched, whether optimality was proved, and what operational constraints remain outside the model.
Open-source calculation core
The dependency-free layout engine is published under the MIT License as Pallet Layout Engine. The public repository includes the same mixed-orientation calculation core, API documentation, verified fixtures and continuous-integration tests used to support the production calculators.
Independence and funding
The website is independently operated and may be funded in part by Google AdSense advertising. Advertising does not determine calculator results, page selection or editorial conclusions. Advertising eligibility and delivery are controlled separately from the calculation tools, and the privacy controls are described in the privacy notice.
Corrections
If a dimension, explanation or calculation appears wrong, email support@pallet-calculator.com. Include the page address, the inputs used and the result you expected so the issue can be reproduced.
