What Is Euro Pallet Size?
The standard Euro pallet—also called EPAL 1—measures 1200×800×144 mm (47.2 × 31.5 × 5.7 in) and weighs approximately 25 kg. It carries a 1,500 kg safe working load when inspected and kept within EPAL tolerances.

Load ratings
EPAL publishes the following limits for a compliant pallet:
- Dynamic load: 1,500 kg (3,307 lb).
- Static stack: 5,500 kg (12,125 lb) on the bottom pallet.
- Racking: 1,000 kg (2,205 lb) when pallets span rack beams with even load distribution.
Always inspect pallets for damage and check the HT mark before export.
