A shared link is an input recipe
A calculator link can restore supported dimensions, quantities and selected modes so another person can repeat the calculation. It is useful for a team review when the accompanying explanation states the question being tested and the result being compared. It is not a private shipment database, immutable result snapshot or proof that equipment has been assigned. The recipient should inspect the restored fields and run the calculation rather than infer the entire planning record from the URL alone.
Use a fictional Euro-footprint example: pallet 1200 by 800 by 144 mm, carton 400 by 300 by 250 mm, total height limit 1500 mm and horizontal rotation allowed. The basic tool returns eight cases per layer, five complete layers, forty cases and 1394 mm nominal loaded height. Packed-case mass 12 kg creates 480 kg of cases. A separately entered 400 kg case-weight limit produces a warning; it does not reduce that basic tool's height-derived HI.
Inspect the exact keys and their units
Open the basic numeric review example. Its supported keys include unit, weightUnit, rotate, palL, palW, palH, boxL, boxW, boxH, maxHeight, boxWeight and maxWeight. The field meanings matter as much as their values. Do not interpret maxWeight as the dedicated TI-HI gross limit merely because the key name resembles a weight field elsewhere.
The dedicated tool uses its own supported record: gross-constrained TI-HI. With the hypothetical 25 kg tare, its result is three whole layers, twenty-four cases and 313 kg gross. Retain hiMode and layout so the reviewer knows that maximum constraints and Mixed are selected. The different outcome follows from different field semantics, not from a private account or hidden shipment data.
| Record item | Value or interpretation |
|---|---|
| Basic calculator | unit, weightUnit, dimensions, rotate, height and case-weight warning inputs |
| Configuration | unit, preset, mode, palletL/palletW/palletH, box dimensions, gap and clearance |
| TI-HI | unit, preset, hiMode, layout, dimensions, gross and payload components |
| Weight | units, mode, quantity fields, boxWt, tare, extras and optional limits |
| Known cube | v=2, unit, mode=known, loadedL, loadedW and loadedH |
| Private metadata | Names, order references, destinations and measurement identity remain in your local record |
Keep the private review record separate
Store customer names, order identifiers, addresses, equipment serial references and internal measurement records in your appropriate local workflow. Do not append them to a calculator URL as notes, names or invented query keys. Unsupported parameters do not become supported calculation inputs, but their text can still remain in a copied address. A link containing only numbers can also reveal commercially sensitive dimensions or capacities, so review whether those numeric inputs themselves are appropriate to share with the intended recipient.
The tools' sharing controls exclude free-text notes, but that does not sanitize information manually added to an address or included in a screenshot. Before sharing, inspect the full query string and any fragment. Crop screenshots to the relevant fields and results, remove unrelated tabs and private identifiers, and exclude session tokens or access material. If the real measurements are confidential, create a clearly labelled fictional reproducer that still demonstrates the issue rather than disguising the real record as anonymous.
Understand the scope of current measurement controls
The site's privacy notice describes the current analytics and support-message processing. Google Analytics page-location values use the origin and pathname rather than the query string or fragment. Optional Clarity is not loaded on pages with query strings. Those site measures do not erase browser history, copied messages, server-side records or records belonging to another recipient. Advanced Consent Mode can involve limited cookieless measurement, so a numeric link should not be described as a guarantee of anonymous or unprocessed use.
The footer controls manage the site's current measurement choices. They do not recall a previously shared URL. Arithmetic taking place in the browser also does not make every action on the page a private communication channel. Keep confidentiality decisions grounded in the actual workflow and notice. This page does not invent a login requirement, expiring share token or versioned storage service; the supported URLs are ordinary addresses that restore input fields.
Review note accompanying a numeric link
Question: compare the basic warning with a dedicated gross constraint. Numeric example: the stated pallet and carton dimensions, 1500 mm height, 12 kg cases, 400 kg limit and 25 kg tare only in TI-HI. Expected records: basic 40 cases and warning; dedicated 24 cases, 313 kg gross. Keep private unit identity and measurement date in the local register. Ask the reviewer to quote the restored mode and fields with the result.
Preserve enough evidence to review a later change
A copied input link can be opened after the site's implementation or reference material changes. It does not freeze the previous algorithm, result text or source table. Save the observed result, status, coordinate export where relevant, review date and any displayed version information in the local record. If no version is displayed, record that fact. The cube tool's v=2 key identifies its supported sharing format; it is not a stored shipment version or an expiry setting.
When a reviewer finds a discrepancy, compare the complete restored inputs before changing the plan. Identify the exact tool, units, mode, blank optional limits and expected calculation. The contact page provides a reproducible report format. A useful team review ends with an explicit accepted input record and remaining questions, while the ordinary numeric link remains a convenience for repeating the calculation rather than a substitute for shipment evidence.
