Direct answer
Prepare a seller packet before contacting pallet buyers.
Potential outlets include pallet recyclers, remanufacturers and businesses that buy reusable pallets. Acceptance depends on local demand, dimensions, construction, condition, quantity and logistics. This page helps a seller prepare the lot; use the local-buyer page to identify and qualify candidates.
Step 1
Sort before requesting a quote
Condition language
Translate grade labels into written acceptance criteria
| Label | Questions to document | Do not assume |
|---|---|---|
| Higher reusable grade | Dimensions, repairs, board and fastener limits | A universal “A” definition or fixed price |
| Repaired / lower reusable grade | Allowed plugs, companion stringers and deck repairs | A universal “B” definition or capacity |
| Repairable / scrap | Accepted damage, contamination and material route | That every buyer accepts or pays for it |
Step 2
Send the same seller packet to each buyer
- Proof or record of ownership and photographs of marks.
- Dimensions, construction, condition counts and clear photos.
- Location, stack dimensions, dock access and loading capability.
- Prior use or contamination history when known.
- Requested pickup or drop-off window and quote validity.
Step 3
Compare the full disposition offer
Record purchase price or recovery fee, rejected categories, minimum lot, transport charge, loading responsibility, payment timing and what happens to rejected pallets. A high headline value can be worse after freight and rejection.

Will a buyer haul pallets away?
Pickup, drop-off, minimum quantities and transport charges vary. Confirm loading responsibility and rejection terms in writing.
